Description

I received this chest from a family friend and she said that it had made a trip down the Oregan Trail or maybe the Oklahoma Landrun- I can't remember! The lid is stamped with "E.R. Co Forest Park Lin" and the rest of the stamp is not legible. It has several layers of paint on it so I'm not sure of the original finish. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

If it did make that trip down the Oregan Trail it did in the back of a truck :) It was made by the Ed Roos company that made cedar chests from 1918-1951, this one dates from the second quarter of the 20th Century ( post 1925).
