This appears to be a reproduction of a Victorian parlor lamp. The originals of course, we're fueled by kerosene. Examples like this began to appear around 1980s, when the values for originals went absolutely crazy with the Victorian decorating craze. Since then though, values have dropped a great deal, we would retail a lamp like this in good condition for about a $150.00
