Description
30 inches tall by 14 inches wide. Carved or machined wooden border. Atop the mirror is a simple hand painted scene (on glass) of a house beside a lake. The back is rough hewn wood, nailed in place. No markings are apparent, though I've read that removing and examining the back of a mirror may reveal relevant information. I would be afraid of damaging the back if I tried to remove it. The top piece (with the painted scene) is loose in the frame; it should probably have a spacer inserted. An appraiser called it "valuable" when my mother's estate was liquidated. That's why we kept it.
