Necklace made with jade and bronze(?) beads and intricate carved (presumed) ivory figurines. Total length is about 34-35 inchesand jade beads are about 1/4" diameter each. The clasp isa bar-in-circle design. I beleive the metal beads and clasp may post-date the rest of the piece.
I first thought these were bone except perhaps the carving of the woman that is carved on both sides. On closer look at the reverse of the ones unfinished on the back the pattern appears more indicative of ivory.
I bought these at an estate auction of a wealthy Chinese family in CA. I paid under $100, I think under $50 for the neclace.
