Antique Japanese hand-carved coffee table

By baehler, 8 August, 2016
Description

Nice (oak?) coffee table in great condition. Japanese village beneath mount Fugiyama(?) at night. Has protective glass top. Measures 6'x3'x1.25'   it is heavy and in great condition.  haven't been able to find anything like this online/anywhere- may be one of a kind. It was an antique when my great-aunt acquired it over 50 years ago.  She gave it to us before she recently passed away at 100yrs old.  Not a whole lot more is known about it but am making inquiries w/the family to see if any further details can be obtained.

History
Was told by previous owner that it was an antique when she acquired in 50 years ago. previous owner was our 100yr old great aunt who recently passed away gave the table to us about 5 years ago but as she lived in arizona and us in idaho, we kept it at her house. After her recent passing, her house is in the process of being sold so the item is now being put in storage in arizona until we can collect it or sell it. I am making inquiries with others in the family to discover if any additional details are available.
