Antique? Pink Jewelry Box with White Figurines

Possibly purchased over-seas, uncertain of original origin.  Part of an inheritance and not sure what the material is.  We received lots of Wedgewood and fine bone china which makes me think it might be of British or German origin. Maybe pink quartz?  It's heavy but not extremely (hard rock) heavy. Any suggestions on where to look would be greatly appreciated.
