This dish is really heavy and very old. I'm not very sure what it was used for. This dish also has Sir Walter Raleigh N.C. on the bottom not sure why????

The International silver company was formed at the turn of the 19th Century and eventually absorbed a number of other silver companies that remained using original name brands. Your piece dates from the first quarter of the 20th Century. Values for silver plate depends a great deal on their condition and it they still have all thei original fitting. If the silverplating is worn such pieces really only have decorative value.
