Description

Silver "basket" style tapered vase I received as a gift from my mother about 25 years ago. I don't have much information about it and am looking for find someone who might know something about the manufacturer as I haven't been able to find anything online that matches the mark on the bottom of the vase.

Category Silver and Silver Overlay
Medium Silver
Distinguishing marks The vase is stamped twice with two similar marks. It is stamped on the underside of the basket portion with the following:
"Standard Silver Co International" then underneath the initials
EP MS and underneath that
32/100
on the bottom of the vase are the same markings with the exception of the initials they are
EP MS
I can't find anything other than that. There is some intricate floral work around the "basket" portion.
Condition Excellent
Size and dimensions of this item 18" tall and the "basket" section is approximately 9" across
Date Period No idea
Weight Approximately 2 pounds
History Unfortunately I don't have any idea of the history. I can't seem to find any information online about the Standard Silver Co International. Only a Standard Silver Company in Toronto but the stamp is different.
Price Paid (If known) As it was a gift I'm unsure
