It looks like a Fraternal Order dress sword, most likely Knights of Columbus. At one point there were over 1000 Men's clubs in North America, each with their own Ceremonial regalia, such as medals, uniforms and swords. Most like this sell for under $125.00 as decorative " Wall Hangers".
