Antique Table with Carved Legs depicting a Beautiful Women

By francisn, 10 October, 2010
Description

I am unable to download pictures for some reason. If you can help me find out more information please email me at [email protected] and I will email you the photos directly. The table legs are ornate carvings of a woman wrapped in an elegant cloth. She has long hair and is posed with her hands atop of her head with her fingers pulling back portions of her hair. She is barefoot. The table rim (or table top sides)is adorned with carvings of ribbons. The legs are joined in the center of the table (about 6 inches up from the floor)by curved wooden pieces that meet together at a decorative spindle. The top of the table has an octagon image created into the wood with floral accents. In the center of the octagon is a square with a pattern similiar to that of the rind of a pinapple.
