This trunk belonged to my 90 year old great grandmothers' mother and father who had told me they had used since their younger ages together in marriages. It's at least 150 year old.
Trunks like this tend to date from the last quarter of the 19th Century (1875-1900), "In the Rough" (needing some restoration) they often sell for about $75.00 at auction.
