Description

This vase was originally one of a pair of identical vases in my family since 1830. (The other vase is presumably with another branch of the family.) I was once told by an antique dealer that the floral design is not handpainted, but rather transferred onto the vase. Back is white. No marks on bottom. In perfect condition...no chips. I'd like to know its origin (British possibly?) as well as its value. It measures about 15" high and 8" at widest point.

Category China
Medium china (definitely not pottery, and I don't think it's porcelain)
Distinguishing marks none

History Vase was one of a pair given to my great-great-great grandparents as a wedding gift in NJ in 1830. The other vase has disappeared...only one left. Excellent condition.
