Description
I don’t know anything about this box... I purchased it from a car boot market, and it was very blackened with age. The top of the box has embossed symbols, and enameled discs in blue and green tones. The sides of the box have hammered/beaten patterning. The box is made of wood, but I’m unsure what kind, as there was only a small amount visible beneath one of the loose enameled discs. I’d love to get an idea of the age of this piece, and any info on its origins would be appreciated :-)
