Description
In my internet findings i belive this is a 1885 Waterbury view camera variation 2. It has a Scovill mfg co ny lens #998. The stabilizing tod has the patent # oct 20,1885. #'s 259 are imprinted under the lens on the actual camera. The back of the camera has #5 imprinted on it. Slate for camera 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" . I have found many pics of this camera but cannot find any info on the value of it. I live in a smaller town and dont have many appraisers around. Any info on the value would be greatly appreciated.
