Description

The vase is about 14 inches tall, with a dark orange, burnt sienna color all over, and very intricated details carved into the clay. Three different scenes on the vase depict what appears to be Asian monks in the forest. The robes the monks wear in each scene are different colors, which alludes to the fact that they may all different monks, not just the same three monks in three different scenes. No marks to determine who the artist may be. The bottom of the vase is covered in felt, which doesn't match the rest of the piece, and may have been added later by someone who owend it. Vivid colors of the leaves and trees, There are a couple chips on the bottom of the vase where the paint has come off.
