Banjo? Mandolin? Manjolin? What is this and how much $? Help!

By NT1129, 27 February, 2012
Description

This item was passed down to me by my grandfather. He got it a very long time ago for doing a huge favor for a friend. I'm unsure of where that man got it from. The instrument is in fairly good condition for it's age. It has a few minor cracks on the head but nothing serious. I found one of these online a few years ago being sold but I am unable to find anything on the internet at this time. I cannot play it and it's really just collecting dust so I would love to sell it.

Re: Banjo? Mandolin? Manjolin? What is this and how much $?...

Hi, this is a banjolin its from 1920's . Usually price for banjoline in this condition is between 50€ and 70€. In perfect condition its around 100€.
Sometimes you can find people tring to sell their banjoline for more than 100€ but nobody will purchase it. Banjoline were build by million in begening of XX century, every familly used to get one.
Sorry if my english is not perfect, I'm french.
