Round silver or silver plated ornate plate with grape edge and flower etching. Diamond/square holds around edges. Back stamp says Barbour 6488/10. I have no idea if this is worthless or valuable. Please help!
All silverware with silver content will be marked to indicated the silver content, either with a number to indicate the purity, "800", (80%) or "925" (92.5%) or the word "Sterling" anything else is some form of plating. Your piece is silverplated, of a type made during the first quarter of the 20th century. In the current market silverplate is not selling well, trays in good shape often sell for under $20.00 at Goodwill type stores and yard sales.
