Bear skin rug from great grandfather

Found this black bear skin rug after my great grandpa passed away. I know it’s one he shot at one point in time. Just not sure of the worth. It’s in very decent shape and has been kept in a dark place inside. It’s quite large also. Just curious on the worth of it.

Great grandfather shot it and got it leather backed. After that we have no idea. Only know it’s been wel taken care of no head included.
