Benedict EPNSBMM 1916 silver sugar and creamer

Description

Silver sugar and creamer cups. Engraving on bottom of cups says: BENEDICT 620 EPNSBMM. Also engraved capital letter on side of sugar cup. Cups are both in excellent physical condition, no scratches, dents, or cracks. Both cups just need a good polishing.

History
I recieved the cups from my great grandparents when they passed away. I believe they belonged to my great-grandmothers parents.

Your cream & sugar are silver plate on Brtitannia metal, which is a form of hard pewter. Their simple style would indicate these were meant to resemble Colonial style silver. Unfortunately the market is currently flooded with silverplate, a result of changing tastes and demographics. values for such pieces are currently quite modest, less than $35.00 at auction.
