Re: bilt rite stroller 1966
The Bilt-Rite Co. here in the US was either bought by or merged into the Century Children's Products Co. around the late 1980s. For awhile, strollers produced by Century had both names on them. Shortly thereafter, the Bilt-Rite name was dropped and Century itself is now part of Graco. The first stroller we bought for our daughter was a smaller Bilt-Rite model made in 1984, which we still have. Bilt-Rite made some very nice prams and strollers over the years. I've learned there was also a Bilt-Rite pram company located in England. Not sure if the two were divisions of the same company or just coincidentally named the same.
