Blue and white Limoges vase

By soph512, 13 January, 2013
Description

This vase came from my mother's home and I am guessing that it was purchased as part of my mom's dowry in the late 1950s or early 1960s. My mother lived in Eurpoe and this would have been purchased and given to her there (Greece). It is also possible that this was purchased later and given to my grandmom who also lived in the same home.

Against white china, it has pictures of flowers and a vase in the centre, highlighted with gold acccents

The stamp on the bottom reads Porcelaine Limoges Fabriquee a la main Cobalt et 24K d'or

The symbol is a ribbon with the word 1890 in it, with a curtain vover it and a crown at the top and hte letter X int he middle

Any idea of its worth would be appreciated!

thank you
