Description Bone or Ivory handle is cracked and loose (you can see the nail is working itself out of what I believe must be a wood dowel under the handle) over a silver ferrule collar. There is a woven fabric (dirty and stained) above the horse hair bristles that must hold them together, with a red cord that looks to have added to the stability of the bristles by holding them in small bundles.
