Description this brass plant stand I have had about 8 years, I have no history at all on this. It looks , a once beautiful piece that was taken apart and mishandled. the detailed tier is wearing flat on the inner part , the outter is a raised border of doll faces and flowers with a fleur de lei trim. The top tier is finished wood which I suspect was not the original tier.     The 3 legs are claw footed with detailed legs (approx 16" ) with swirles, flowers, and what appear to me to be the tips of angel wings on top of each.  Years later my neighbor gave me 2 brass angels she said were to a lamp and said there was a third she couldnt find. Had there not been handles welded to the backs of the two I did get, they fit perfectly in between each leg of my stand and line up perfectly with the winged tips.  I've always wondered what the mystery/history was behind it.  I'm sorry i have no device to enter a photo.
