Description
This is a large (28" diameter) heavy brass wall plate with an inner border of gold and outer border cornucopia and other flourishes--these are highlighted in pink, rose and golden tones. The background is a moss green It is a festive, royal scene with a child at the center--everyone is looking at something to the right.
This belonged to my uncle and dates from the 1970s, if not before.

History
I inherited this from my uncle and I know he had it in the 1970s. It's possible he had it before that. I suppose this may just be a stock item, but he also spent time in Italy before and during the 70s. I have a matching ewer, brass with blue enamel, which I am not yet posting.
