Description
Hello,
My name is Shwe Khine and I am currently living in United States.
Burma, now known as Myanmar, was under British colony until 1948.
In that time span, many British officers lived in Myanmar.
Some of them brought some wonderful plates at that time and some of these plates survived until now.
I have been contacted by a friend who is living in a town call Maulmein and he sent some interesting photos of some the plates that he inherited from his grandparents.

The Old Hall pieces do not date to 1790, that date is one claimed to when the original pottery was establsihed. These pieces are all mass produced examples of late 19th to early 20th Century British Ironstone/eartehnware.The RD numbers were British Registry design numbers used  to indicate the design was protected and registered, the numbers will also indicate the year the design was registered.
