I have owned this for 10 years. I purchased it at a farm sale for around $10. I was told it was very old. It has a tiny brass plaque on the back near the bottom that states C. Hennecke Co. Milwaukee. I am assuming this is from the Caspar Hennecke's company that operated in the 1800's through the mid 1900's. I do not know what it is and what it is used for. It has a hole near the bottom of the piece under the pot she is cooking as if a light was there, maybe a gaslight, perhaps? It is in fair shape, not great. I would enjoy knowing it's use and if I should worry about it's condition. If it has any significant worth, I should find a better place for it I suppose. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
