Description

I am trying to find out when the chest was made (date) (era) (century), style, possibly who made it, where it was made? If the chest was made in America or across seas? Where it came from?

I am also trying to find out when the oil painting was done (date, style, artist?)

It is an original oil painting I just can't tell if there's a signature or date on it.

If anyone also could possibly tell me what they think the chest and painting are valued at together?

The oil painting is real you can still smell the oil it has very large grains used in the oil paints and brush strokes, the oil painting also has alot of and very large cracks running in the painting. I cant find a signature or date on the oil painting nor could I find any makers marks on the chest. Both the chest, oil painting, leather trim and hardware are showing signs of oxidization. The nails and button pins look like rosé head design and that the hardware was all handmade. I can't tell what kind of joints were used to make the chest.

Thank you for your time.
