This is a cast iron wood burning stove that was attached to an in-wall chimney box in the house I bought about 12 years ago. I have never used it but it has seen use from the previous owners. There is a mural of what looks to be people working in a field on both sides of the unit. It has been in the garage for most of the time I have owned it. There is some rusting on the edges in places and the mural on one side is in worse shape then the other. I have looked for any kind of name or number on the unit and only found the word "TAIWAN" stamped onto the bottom right side of the back of the unit. There is caution wording located on the inside of the front door.
I am hoping to find out whatever I can about this unit. Whether its a stove or room heater? Who made it? How old it may or may not be? What a value on it may be? Would it be worthwhile to restore it? If it is possible to restore such units?
There is also a black floor tray that goes under the unit and a black flew pipe that had connected it to the wall chimney box.
