I found this cup and saucer at a flea market in Northern Ontario a couple months ago and have searched on the internet countless hours trying to find one like in order to know what to sell it for. It is very beautiful, with gold edges and what looks like gold underneath the paintings, some of the paint has "rubbed off" to show this. There are no chips or cracks only a few wear marks on the handle and on the bottom of the saucer. I do not think that they are a match originally as they have different pottery marks, but the colourful shimmer present in both pieces makes them a great set. On the inside of the cup is a lovely painted rose and greenery.Quite pretty. I would like to potentially sell it, if it will make a good price.
