Description
Received this cedar chest that was my grandmother's. No one in the family knows anything about it. Would love to know the age and manufacturer. No maker's mark, just the number burned into the bottom. Picture included.

not sure what the outside is, but the inside is, of course, cedar.

It could have been my grandmother's mother's which would make it late 1800's or early 1900's. It's at least my grandmother's which would put it around 1930.
