This is a hand painted ceramic decanter that I got at an estate sale. From some similar items online, I'm thinking it could be Italian.

Re: Ceramic Canteen Decanter
It looks a bit like Dutch Quimper Ware pottery, are there any markings on it?
Re: Ceramic Canteen Decanter
Unfortunately, there are no markings.
Re: Ceramic Canteen Decanter
I have finally been able to identify it! I did a Google search for Dutch Quimper Ware pottery and somehow the Google image search led me to an nearly identical item that had an original label. The one I purchased must of had the label come off at some point.
It's a Corfinio liquer decanter, made in Italy. One source states it's from the 1950s, but I haven't been able to confirm that.
Thank you Lovejoy for the suggestion. I have been searching the internet on and off for a couple of months now. Your suggestion sent my research in the right direction!
