We picked up a china set that has the geisha girl lithophane in the bottom of the teacups, and a landscape scene similar to hayasi Kutani. The mark in the bottom is in japanese or chinese letters. There is a lot of what appears to be gold painted on the picture. Village with lake and a dock, I think, and trees with mountain in background.
The set has 6 small saucers, 6 larger saucers, 6 tea cups, large teapot with lid, creamer, and a sugar bowl. The set is not perfect - we see a few chips, a small saucer has two pieces glued back onto it, etc.
Just looking for some information on the age, potential price, history, etc. I know nothing about china so this is all interesting and new to me. :-)
