Description

This appears to be a Chinese graystone pottery funeral statue placed at the time of burial with the deceased. The glaze is a celadon with a blue flambe glaze applied on top. The base has writing, and Ming is the only word that I have been able to decipher, if that is correct. I would appreciate anyone's input or feedback on this. The ears are not orginal to the piece, and are not permenant.
