Civil War era hickory walking stick

Description

Civil War era hickory walking stick that is approximately 3.5' high.  Has sterling silver band right below top of the stick which is engraved with "Cut on Fort Hell by D.L. Conover, Vol. '92."  Has another 1/2" sterling band right below the base of the stick.  The stick is not carved, but whittled, and the varnish is worn off on some sections.
