It works perfectly. It has plenty of use marks but no chips missing or anything like that. It a real nice working piece of American history.

22" high with the metal jack retracted, 36" high with it extended. It's tapered from 7" wide at the bottom to 6" wide at the top and 3" thick at the bottom and 2:5" inches think at the top
These jacks are not near as rare as one would think given their age and the fact very few people have driven a wagon to work for well over a hundred years ;~). Today these sell in the $250.00- $350.00 range at auction.
