Description
Another of my late mother's treasures, is this State Flower quilt, which I believe is from the Depression era. It is completely hand quilted, and has a lovely scalloped border. The back is a gold/orange color. The front consists of plain green squares alternating with 48 squares that have the state flowers and state names painted on. It appears that this was done with tube paints rather than with a brush.
It is in good, but used condition. I find no stains, tears, nor worn spots.
I'm hoping that somebody can give me an idea of the value of this quilt, and if there is a market for this type of quilt.
Re: Depression-Era Quilt - State Flowers
Still hoping somebody can give me an idea what this quilt is worth. Thanks!
