Description Green Hardbound book with illustrations. embossed border/central design on the front and spine. Title resides on the spine only. Title page: THE DECENT OF MAN, and Selection in Relation to Sex, By CHARLES DARWIN, m.a., with illustrations - New Edition, Revised and Augmented. Complete in One Volume. - New York; HURST AND COMPANY, Publishers. Can't find any date, but the Preface ends with Down, Beckenham, Kent, Sept 1874. Ripped half way down interior spine at the preface page, and water damage to top corner of hardcover and the first 20 pages. Some corner fraying on cover. Nice through the rest of the book.
