Description

Hello!

I just purchased this steamer trunk at a local estate auction with plans to restore it. However, the more I read, the more I realize I need to know more about it so that I don't lessen its value (if any) with restoration.

Description: Domed lid, all tin and metal intact, original wheels on the bottom, designed leather inlay (?), other leather straps missing, removable,  fabric covered tray inside, clasps and lock needing replacement. It is 32 inches in length, 19 inches deep and 29 inches in heigth (to the top of the dome) See Pictures.

There is no maker's mark on the piece.

Thanks for the help!

Casey
