Description

I purchased 4 of these chairs. One is missing a piece of the back slat but otherwise in great condition. I pulled a very old tag from the bottom of one of chairs that says it is from Drexel Furniture Co. The item number appears to be 259700.

Any idea of age or value of these chairs?

These are loosely based on the French Provincial style, which has had several revivals in popularity since it's original creation in the mid 1700's, thse date from the late 1950's through mid 60's. Drexel was renamed "Drexel Heritage" about 1971. Thes chairs look very odd though, I suspect they've had the backs cut down.
