Drexel Heritage 1972 Dining dbl. pedestal table, 3 leaves, 8 chairs, pads & china hutch

Description

This dining room complete set belonged to my parents and I have had it for about 18 years. It was purchased in 1972 (for about $10,000 for everything, including the hutch).

I have the original store catalogue from the purchase so the descriptions are from there…

Double pedestal dining table: Top of cherry veneer with yew wood border and boxwood and rosewood inlays. cherry veneer apron. solid cherry pedestals and bases. Windmere finish. W72 D44 H29  Three 22" leaves, max ext 138"  (133-320)

Chairs were from a different set (called the oval dining set 133-310): caned backs. Solid cherry. Windmere finish. (6 side chairs & 2 arm chais... all have been recovered professionally)  W22 D22 H37.5 for arm chairs (133-110) and W21 D21 H36.75 for side chairs (133-115)

Custom pads for table and leaves, all in great condition.

China hutch (133-410): Beveled glass doors. glass shelves. interior lights. door panels of walnut veneer with yew wood borders and mahogany overlays. cherry veneer side panels. solid cherry moldings. Windmere finish.

interior: tray drawer with silver liner and one adjustable shelf behind the center and right center doors. One adjustable shelf behind the left, left center and right doors.

Condition of everything is excellent. There is one scratch in the center on the table (from a centerpiece! :P) but it's not very noticeable because the wood color is still the same in the scratch & it's not very deep.  Pads are on the table 98% of the time. All chair caning is in perfect condition. I have kept covers on the chairs, as well.
