Drexel Heritage Dresser 940-430B

By Rkloch2, 28 May, 2016
Description

I have had this dresser for about 5 years now and was thinking about selling it but realized I had no clue what to list it at price wise. Started looking around for clues as to who makes it and model, discovered it is made by Drexel heritage and the markings that I have found include:

940-430D-2

First Avenue

By Drexel

Made in USA  (all of the above markings are stamped on the wood with ink)

Then there's this sticker with:

Inspector          Plant #2

Kathy McGee.  83925

This is a tall 2-piece dresser, one stacks on top of the other. The marking above are on the top half. On the bottom half I see a second sticker that reads:

940-430B

S/N 022786930040

Base Old - 02

I have searched online and have not found anything that has been helpful in identifying my dresser. Don't see any pictures that look like it. Starting to think it might actually be pretty rare and old. Really have no idea. Anyone able to make something of those markings and determine a model name and price? Condition would be considered "good" - some marks but still looks great.
