Like the title states i seen the same one exactly as mine in an article on line. This is a link to the article and if you scroll down a bit there is my fan right there http://www.victoriana.com/all-the-glitter-and-the-gold-gilded-new-york/ I well also include the pic they have of it in the article you can tell which it is also the pic with the piece of paper is what i found on the back of the case that it is in. I think its pretty valuable or why would one be in the museum right? I left it in its case due to i really done want to take it out and possible damage it, but got some pretty good pics of it. Any and all help is appreciated I am not sure of its worth i have heard 200-5000 thats a pretty big margin I was referred to a place called J Levine auction house and appraisals so i went there and the woman said well we can put it on auction for you but she only thought i would get 200 I told her I didn't wish to sell it for that and i would like an appraisal i was aware that there would be a fee and she told me that oh they dont do appaisal's ??? wtfffff It is in the business title. And she sent me texts afterwards asking me to let her sell it. I told her thank you, but no I didnt want to let it go for that cheap. They dont do a set price min. so i truly believe that they were trying to take advantage of me. Or why else would they not appraise it for me that is what i booked the appointment for. so I really would like and HONEST OPINION. Not one from someone with something to gain. So pleeeeeease help me. thanks so much for your time.
