Hi, I would like to know as much information about this Eastlake Style Ladies Dresser as possible.  I would also like to know what its worth might be to someone else.

-Obtained in Edwardsville, IL

-has swivel mirror

-has 2 candle stands

-has brownish and white marble top

-slide bolts say 'May' on them

-has at least 5 tongue and grove slots on eac of the drawers.  The picture didn't come out.

If anyone can assist, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Lisa

Category Furniture
Distinguishing marks I do no see any markings on the wood at all.
Condition Good
Size and dimensions of this item approx. 36" across and maybe 18" deep; I could be very wrong on this. I'm guessing
3 long drawers with metal handles, two holes to each handle
It came apart in 4 sections, base, marble top, swivel mirror, small wooden top with carvings.

Pieces like this generally date from the last quarter of the 19th Century. They were a hot item up to the early 1990's , but values for Eastlake furniture along with other Victorian styled furniture has been in decline since then. We see comparable example at auction often now selling in the 200-400 range.
