This is a small bowl 5 1/4 inches across, its numbered 33-6. It has a country cottage scene in the bottom of the bowl with rosebushes along the path and around the front gate.

You paid about what it would have gone for at auction these days, the market is "chock a block" with 1930's china right now with few eager buyers. Knowles has been producing a lot of commemorative china for years under contract to other companies.  Here's a link to dating Knowles china for you and some history of the company:
