The good news is that you clearly have hall marks. These will tell you where and when it was made, by whom and maybe the silver content. That will help narrow things down greatly. The bad news is, that the photos are too small and blurry for me to look them up for you. I can't see enough detail. However, most large bookstores have a number of books on hallmarks in the antique section. Your library may have it too. Particularly if you are interested in collecting silver, they are worth getting. The better ones explain how to look up the marks too. Look for something that covers a lot of different country hallmarks. Be careful as forgeries do exist. I saw one of a perfectly good silver beer mug with authentic hall marks turned into a tea pot. It was very creative, but tea was unknown to that country at that time. Finding the hallmark data will go a long way into answering your questions! Garry
