Purchased this oil painting approx. 18 yrs ago from a elderly lady that was moving. Her
husband had passed and was selling off items. I was told that he was given this painting as a gift
from the president of Glidden paints when he retired. which believe she said was based in Los Ang.?
he had worked there as a paint mixer or somethingto do with paint? for many years and always
admired this paiinting that hung above th Presidents desk. This is Oil on board and signed Hunter.
Have tried finding out about this artist but no luck. I was thinking that maybe it had something to do
Glidden paints as this is where she said her husband worked and supposedly hung in the
Presidents office. Anyway I have passed on all the information I was given. Hope somebody
knows something about it as I would like to put in an auction but would like to know of its value
or history! Pleas note there is a small ripple in bottom left corner but other than that good condition. Thank-you!!
