I was given this by my grandmother 35 years ago she said it was old and had been with her a long time other then that I have no info that I can add it looks like it could of been a pipe and ash holder I would love to find out what it is for sure with a possible age and value

Just guessing,but is it possible that it is some kind of oil lamp,elephant trunk as holding point ???
