Elizabethan Dining Room Table

Description The wood may be walnut. I have little information on the piece other than it has sat unused for over 30 years. Some wear to finish on edges, minor wear to table top, other than that, in excellent condition. Estimate weight at 150 - 200 pounds. There is a red ink mark inside an expansion segment, but it is too faded/washed out to read. Double pedestal. Came with the six chairs in the photos but I don't know if it was a set or not. Chairs have tags indicating they were manufactured in Mississippi, distributed in Virginia.

Sets like these tend to date no earlier than the 1960's, the earlier examples tended not to use bookmatched pattern veneers. Not a huge demand for these sets in the current market , the table and chairs might get $500.00 on a good day at auction. Lovejoy
