Description
I rescued this painting from the trash. It was in my sisters 90 year old mother in laws home forever. We know it is at least 50 to 60 years old or more. I believe it is a Guy Pene' Du Bois painting. The condition is good a few small chips in the paint. It is framed in the original frame.

This painting is not by Guy Pene' Du Bois. It is a mass produced piece of artwork and if you google "do bois oil painting" you will see tens of similar examples and online responses indicating they are quite common. It is not by any known artist but rather more of a tourist piece, and it's value is essentially what someone will pay for a piece of unlisted art, typically $50-$250 depending on the sale venue.
