This is a lovely teapot that was my grandmother's and possibly her mother's. It has a springtime robin theme engraved/etched on it. The pot has the silvermarkings of F.B. Rogers Silver Co and Taunton Mass encircling an inner marking of a crown with 1883 beneath it in the center. Beneath the marking is the word Quadruple and beneath this the numbers 1217 and beneath this the number 6. I do not ever remember seeing this teapot used in my lifetime although my grandmother did definitely entertain using her good silver pieces but keeping her mother's "stored" out of respect for her stepmother who raised her after her father remarried following her mother's death when she was a toddler. The pot is in very good condition although in desparate need of polishing. I would be interested in its value and possibly in selling for a fair price.
